Óbvio, nunca a editora do GRRM iria aceitar isso e olhando para o histórico da personagem este pace está coerente com os últimos tempos antes deste livro.
O maior erro dele foi ter mudado a ideia que tinha para o 4º livro e não ter tido o skip temporal de 5 anos.

Of late it seems there’s a new story about me somewhere on the net every day, or near enough to make no matter. Many get things wrong. For the most part I ignore them. I have better things to do than try and track down every weird rumor or out-and-out fabrication that pops up on some obscure website trolling for traffic.
Every so often, however, one of these stories gains an improbable currency, and just chuckling at the insanity no longer suffices.
That seems to be happening right now. All of a sudden this crazy story about my finishing THE WINDS OF WINTER and A DREAM OF SPRING years ago is popping up everywhere. No, I am not going to provide links. I don’t want to reward purveyors of misinformation with hits.
I will, however, say for the record — no, THE WINDS OF WINTER and A DREAM OF SPRING are not finished. DREAM is not even begun; I am not going to start writing volume seven until I finish volume six
It seems absurd to me that I need to state this. The world is round, the Earth revolves around the sun, water is wet… do I need to say that too? It boggles me that anyone would believe this story, even for an instant. It makes not a whit of sense. Why would I sit for years on completed novels? Why would my publishers — not just here in the US, but all around the world — ever consent to this? They make millions and millions of dollars every time a new Ice & Fire book comes out, as do I. Delaying makes no sense. Why would HBO want the books delayed? The books help create interest in the show, just as the show creates interest in the books.
So… no, the books are not done. HBO did not ask me to delay them. Nor did David & Dan. There is no “deal” to hold back on the books. I assure you, HBO and David & Dan would both have been thrilled and delighted if THE WINDS OF WINTER had been delivered and published four or five years ago… and NO ONE would have been more delighted than me.
I have said it before: don’t believe everything you read on the internet.
Except here, of course.

Queira-se ou não, encontramos profecias que justificam isto tudo. A Daenerys disse que iria recuperar o trono com fogo e sangue. As profecias acerca da Cersei justificam a forma da sua morte (embora seguindo a linha do início da série, uma morte que não envolvesse estrangulamento por um irmão mais novo não fizesse sentido).
Durante toda a série a Dany sempre lutou com a cena do pai, sempre teve alguém a dizer-lhe que os soberanos ou tinham mão forme ou eram carne para espeto, sempre teve de repetir a outros e a ela que ela não era o pai e não se tornaria num. Sempre existiu uma dualidade. Por um lado ela era a boazinha e a coitadinha, por outro teve de cometer actos e teve acesso de fúria digna de tiranos. Ela avisou na praia que já chegava de acções assim e assado, que tinha 3 dragões adultos e que iria derrotar os seus inimigos. Ela sempre quis o amor de toda a gente e o trono. Ora agora não tem nem o amor, nem a legitimidade do trono.
A linha de acção não é estranha.
Esse e que e o problema, a linha de accao esta correcta a forma de la chegar e que foi horrivel… Ao nivel de uma qualquer fan fiction merdosa pela net. Custava assim tanto, por exemplo, matar o Rhaegal neste episodio apos os sinos tocarem? Ou que alguem tentasse matar o Drogo depois dos sinos levando ao ataque de raiva e loucura da Dany? Porque raio e que a Arya voltou a ser completamente inutil? Faltou a Melisandre para lhe dar o buff do Not Today?
Em que planeta e que o Jon ficaria impavido e sereno a assistir a alguem como o Varys a ser queimado vivo por ter dito a verdade! Em que planeta e que o Tyrion seria a pessoa a entregar o Varys sabendo perfeitamente a reaccao da Dany? Ainda mais imediatamente a ela lhe dizer que estava desapontada com o Jon…
De onde raio voltaram os Dothraki? Como e que existem ainda tantos unsullied depois da long night? Se aquilo na preview do 6 forem Unsullied entao a Dany ja e a Night Queen e levanta tropas dos mortos.
A profecia da Cersei? O arco de desenvolvimento do Jaime? Basicamente foi so a Winter Fell comer a Brienne porque era o que os fans queriam…
Rezar para que, pelo menos, o Jon mate a Dany antes dela matar o Tyrion. Depois pode voltar para o Ghost no Norte.
Concordo, as beats da história são interessantes e fazem sentido, consegue-se descortinar um pouco como serão os livros e as ideias por trás.
A forma como se chegou lá na série foi de uma desilusão atroz.
Sob o meu ponto de vista, a rainha dos dragões deve vencer o jogo de tronos. Tem dois exércitos leais, os dothraki e os imaculados, porque lhes deu provas de ser uma boa líder. Porque carga de água teria que ser o norte a dominar o mundo, juntamente com um anão? Eu gosto do Jon Snow e do Tyrion, como a maioria, mas, num teatro de guerra, não faz sentido qualquer outro cenário que não seja este que os criadores da serie apresentaram. A Dayneris Targaryen lutou pelo norte contra os white Walkers e perdeu um dragão. Bolas, deixou jon Snow montar um dragão. A partir de algum ponto, tem que haver um limite para a traição. Estamos a falar de reis e não de democracia. Parece que alguns de nós se esquecem desse detalhe.
Eu que neste momento já ninguém se senta no trono…pelo menos nesse.

Episodio 6 da 3ª temporada:
A série está morta, se não falta-se apenas um episódio ontem tinha deixado de ver Game of Thrones. Siga, está quase a acabar a tortura.
O que vai ficar para os anais da história é como se destroi uma série épica em 3 episódios…
Não é bem verdade que a Dany nunca tenha tido momentos de “loucura”. Há n exemplos ao longo da saga.
As crucificações em massa (sem sequer saber quem eram os mestres que crucificou), a cena em que dá de comer mestres aos dragões (admitindo que não sabe se são inocentes ou não, os dragões que decidam), queimar os khals, a cena dos Tarly…
Apesar disso, sempre foi mais virada para o lado doce, “Mhysa”, heart-warming, breaker of chains, mas teve os seus quês de mad. 
Agora, se esta queimada bruta a KL foi exagerada? Yap. Então, pende os dragões porque o Drogon matou uma criança, mas depois é ela própria a ir full rampage e mata uma data delas em Kings Landing? :shifty:

Eles que não se lembrem disso, os olhos dos Targaryen são púrpura, a Emilia é que não conseguia usar as lentes sem ter dores.
Gostei do episódio, sobretudo em termos de realização foi muito bom. Bela experiência.
A narrativa… ao menos foi de encontro ao desejo de muitos. Burn it all. Creio que as pessoas depositam grandes expectativas em imensas teorias e depois ficam defraudadas. Eu aprendi com a série Lost em deixar correr a narrativa, deixar de lado as teorias e apreciar aquilo que nos é oferecido.
O potencial da série era tremendo, isto merecia duas temporadas para finalizar. Uma temporada, seis episódios é querer meter uma Sé dentro de uma Capela. É muito pouco, o que obriga a ter que reduzir imenso a narrativa, obriga a uma constante fast forward. Talvez depois haja pequenas mini-sérias para continuar a adorar a pílula e aí possamos ter melhores explicações.
Já sabemos como tudo isto irá acabar. Alguns satisfeitos, outros insatisfeitos, uns conformados e outros inconformados. O mais provável é a montanha parir um rato. É muita acção para poucos minutos.
Apesar de a Daenerys ter entrado para a lista da Arya com este churrasco, e provavelmente acabar por ter de ser a Arya a matá-la já que o Jon é um cagão de primeira, os olhos verdes eram os do Littlefinger.

Quase tudo o que aconteceu neste episódio bateu certo com as tais teorias, mas como me recuso a ver o Bran no trono, espero que seja o Gendry a sentar o cu na cadeira.
O Jon depois de ver tanta m**** a acontecer a sul parece-me normal que vá para norte ter com o Tormund, lá pelo menos não há traições e mais traições.
A Daenerys matar inocentes faz todo o sentido, já o tinha feito antes.
E sempre teve um tique ditatorial, nunca aguentou que existisse alguém que não se ajoelhasse perante ela.
Só não o fez mais cedo nesta escala porque estava controlada pelos amigos.
Ficou sem amigos queimou o cérebro de vez.
Apressaram a história nesta última temporada mas não deixa de fazer sentido por isso.
Toca a espremer o sumo até à ultima gota, vem ai doc de 2h.

Herding the masters into pens and slaughtering them by the thousands is also treating men like beasts.” Reminding her “I wouldn’t be here to help you if Ned Stark had done to me what you want to do to the masters of Yunkai.”
• 407 – Daenerys “They can live in my new world or they can die in their old one.”
• 505 – Daenerys executes an innocent Meereenese nobleman for the sole purpose of intimidating the other nobles.
• 505 – Daenerys reopens the fighting pits allowing for innocent men to kill one another for entertainment.
• 508 – Daenerys “I’m not going to stop the wheel. I’m going to break the wheel.”
• 604 – Daenerys murders the leaders of the Dothraki for the sole purpose of consolidating power.
• 606 – Dario to Daenerys “You weren’t made to sit on a chair in a palace. You’re a conquer, Daenerys Stormborn.”
• 606 – Daenerys to the Dothraki “Will you kill my enemies in their iron suits and tear down their stone houses?”
• 609 – Speaking about the masters Daenerys swears to “Kill every one of their soldiers and return their cities to the dirt.” Tyrion responds “You once told me you knew what your father was. Did you know his plans for King’s Landing?” Daenerys “This is entirely different!” Tyrion “You’re talking about destroying cities. It’s not entirely different.”
• 702 – Yara Greyjoy, Olenna Tyrell, and Ellaria Sand all try to convince Daenerys to use her dragons on King’s Landing. Tyrion convinces her to do otherwise. (This is important as Tyrion’s plans fail, and his repeated failures show Daenerys there’s no other option)
• 702 - Olenna Tyrell “Commoners and nobles are all children really. They won’t obey you unless they fear you.” And later. “You’re a dragon. Be a dragon.”
• 704 – After news of her army’s defeat at Casterly Rock, Daenerys questions Tyrion’s plans and his loyalty.
• 704 – Daenerys “Enough with the clever plans. I have 3 large dragons. I’m going to fly them to the red keep.”
• 705 – Daenerys executes Randal and Dickon Tarly when imprisonment was a perfectly viable option.
• 705 – Tyrion “Daenerys is not her father.” Varys “And she never will be with the right counsel. You need to find a way to make her listen.”
• 705 – Tyrion devises a convoluted plan to capture a wight to convince Cersi to help fight the night King. Over the rest of seasons 7 and 8 this plan goes horribly wrong and results in the death of a dragon. The failure of this plan further degrades Daenerys’ trust of Tyrion.
• 801 – Lyanna Mormon publically confronts Jon Snow about giving up his crown and swearing allegiance to Daenerys. This is the beginning of Daenerys’ realization that she has no love in Westeros.
• 802 – Daenerys is angry that Tyrion’s advice about Cersei turned out to be wrong. Saying “Either you are a traitor or a fool.” And “Cersei still sits on the throne. If you can’t help me take it back I will find another Hand who can.”
• 803 – Jorah is killed in battle. He has proven to be one of the few advisors Daenerys had that tried to temper her impulses.
• 804 – Daenerys sees people praising Jon Snow and becomes jealous.
• 804 – Tormund “What kind of person climbs on a fucking dragon? A madman, or a king!” (I’d like to point out when Tormund says “madman” it cuts to a shot of Dany, and when he says “or a king!” it cuts to Jon)
• 804 – Speaking about Jorah to Jon, Daenerys “He loved me and I couldn’t love him back. Not the way he wanted. Not the way I love you.” (Her love for Jon is not returned in 805)
• 804 – Daenerys “I saw them gathered around you. I saw the way they looked at you. I know that look. So many people have looked at me that way but never here.”
• 804 – Varys “These are the people you came here to protect. Do not destroy the city you came to save…” Daenerys “I’m here to save the world fromy tyrants… and I will serve it, no matter the cost.”
• 804 - Daenerys “Speaking to Cersei will not prevent a slaughter. But perhaps its good the people see Daenerys Stormborn made every effort to avoid bloodshed and Cersei Lannister refused. They should know whom to blame when the sky falls down on them.” (We should note she is directly talking about “The People” here)
• 804 – Missandei’s final words before her execution. “Dracarys”.
• 805 – Varys “They say every time a Targaryen is born, the Gods toss a coin and the world holds its breath.”

• 805 – After a half hearted kiss with Jon, Daenerys says “Alright then. Let it be fear.” (Echoing what Viserys said in 106)
• 805 – Tyrion “The people who live there, they’re not your enemies. They’re innocents.” Daenerys “Your sister knows how to use their enemies weaknesses against them. That’s what she thinks our mercy is. Our mercy is our strength. Our mercy toward future generations who will not be held hostage by a tyrant.” (She’s all but saying she’s not going to show mercy and will butcher everyone in the city)
• 805 – Daenerys to Tyrion. “Next time your fail me will be the last time you fail me.”[/spoiler]
Acho que era o mais normal.
O Jon tb invadiu a cidade. Também tem as mãos sujas de sangue. Tb defendeu a v*ca.
O ideal era Westeros virar uma anarquia sindical e Jon rumava a norte ter com o Ghost.
Não, não faz.
Segundo o character arc que nos foi dado a conhecer ao longo de 7 Seasons, é absurdo que ela tenha feito aquilo que fez, pois é completamente e totalmente contra natura.
Slaver´s Bay, Yunkai e Mereen demonstram que ela não é uma cold blooded killer mas sim alguém que se preocupa com os inocentes, tendo inclusivamente adiado os planos de invasão de Westeros por causa dos escravos entretanto por ela libertados.
Apesar de ter tomado algumas decisões que poderiam ser usados como contra-argumento, a premissa geral do temperamento dela mantém-se. Ou melhor, manteve-se até ao início desta Season. Onde havia um claro equilíbrio entre a ambição dela e a justeza das suas acções, pese algumas falhas.
O facto dela ter perdido o marido e 2 dos filhos não a fez passar-se da marmita. E agora era a Misandei o tiping point que a tornou numa mass murderer? Faz ZERO sentido. O character arc da Daenarys é mais uma valente borrada dos argumentistas. Depois do aborto que foi a Batalha de Winterfell.
Enfim, quem gostou do episódio, ainda bem. GoT há muito que se tornou num sem fim de asneiras e esta última Season é apenas o reforçar desse percurso.
O temperamento mantém-se enquanto está controlada pelos amigos.
Quando perde os poucos que tem (não só a Missandei, apesar de a terem usado para apressar o que já se esperava acontecer com a Dany) e começa a olhar para os restantes como traidores, o temperamento vira churrasco.
