Tempting report that I got into. Lisbon is from now on in my list for future visits. :great:

Photo from benfica’s shitty stadium, that’s not cool.

Apart from that, yes you should come, I’d advise you to come visit my island, but it’s too freaking expensive.

I’ve checked the presentation, on your behalf. Here’s my opinion, trying to be as fair as possible:

1. The weather. Yes, it’s really great. You won’t be deceived.
(although it might rain)
2. The food. Yes, it’s really great
(but forget expensive restaurants, you won’t need to spend that much, it’s good everywhere)
3. The beaches. Yes, they’re really great, but the water is somehow cold, Algarve ones are much better.
4. Electric trams. OK, they’re still on business, they’re not that expensive and show you the actual city.
(but they’re slow)
5. The river. Yes, it’s really worth being seen.
6. Tropical influence. It’s real, but not sure a touristic interest.
7. The view. Yes, worth experiencing, no doubt about that.
(get several camera memory cards!)
8. LX Factory. Well, just a place like plenty others.
9. Architecture. Ok, you’ll love it for sure.
10. Football. The season starts by the end of August only.
(and visiting the read WC isn’t pleasant at all!)
11. Coffee. Yes! It’s much better than in overall Europe.
(Portugal had colonies in Africa, the coffee tradition is still alive)
12. Culture. OK, not bad.
13. Drinks. I suppose a heavy drinker could wish for more, but you surely won’t feel like wasting your time…
14. Bullfight. For those who like that primitive attraction…
15. Neighborhoods. Same as architecture.
16. Food again. Don’t come here if you’ve weight difficulties; you’ll be back much worse!
(it’s really as cheap as good)
17. Fado. It can get pricy, but you’ll certainly love it.
18. Oceanário. I don’t know other aquariums, but I suppose you’ll love it.
19. Cakes. Same as food. Be aware of weight and health; they’re really sweet!
20. Sight. Same as before, I suppose its well worth the tour.
21. Languages. Although not as well as they think (far from it!), Portuguese do manage to understand and be understood, whatever the language.
(and foreign movies always have subtitles)
22. Shops. Yes, they’re original and not that expensive.
23. Smell. Don’t know what they’re referring to. Not that it smells bad, but, other than spring, can’t really imagine what the big deal is.
24. Bars. For sure!
25. Downtown. Well worth the visit, no doubt at all.
26. Indian food. Don’t know about elsewhere, but here that’s true.
27: Sintra, Cascais and so on. Lovely!
27. Traditional markets. Not that big deal, but nice.
28. Gardens. They’re not that much, but they’re nice.
29. Ice-cream. Never heard it was an attraction…
30. Shoeshine. So what?

I personally added more 7 places that you MUST visit.

1. Conde Redondo
2. Técnico
3. Elefante Branco
4. Pensão Estrela
5. Monsanto
6. Kikas “La Siesta Bar”
7. Reta de Coina

LOL!

(he’s not being serious; Amsterdam should be better for that…)

Try to live in Azores. :stuck_out_tongue:

Btw

Great picture from today’s game

Nice game, good winner!

There are places and events that you would never give up for anything in your life…

Levski’s youngster Stanislav Ivanov may become a world class player, right bull ??

I really dont know. I saw him playing for the first time on that game against Lazio. He is just 15 years old so he has a lot to play in the future. I hope he will develop into a good player.

Article from uefa for our anniversary with 10 of the best European games in our history: http://www.uefa.com/memberassociations/association=bul/news/newsid=2111258.html

Media here in Bulgaria today are announcing that you are about to sue us for the rights of Valeri Bojinov. Something was not right with his contract and his termination when he was playing for Sporting and somehow we are involved in it. They are writing something about 31 million of compensation that we should pay you if you win the case. Question is: Is this true at all or just some journalists fantasy that wants to get some interest? If there is anything true in this one I dont know if we are able to pay you such money.

We didn’t hear anything about it here.

The problem i beleive resides in the fact that he was practicing with your club without authorization from sporting. No news have shown here in Portugal about it.

I don’t know if it’s true or not, but please do not return him.

New season starts tomorrow. The squad is almost entirely renewed. Got mainly Bulgarian players + 4-5 foreigners and a bunch of youngsters from the Academy. We have shrinked the budget for wages and transfers and basically we bought players from the local championship + one Spaniard from Segunda. Our new coach is also Spanish - Pepe Murcia, ex-coach of Atletico Madrid. We’ll see how long he will stay in that jungle called Bulgarian reality. So far I have a good impression of him despite the limited team that he have deal with.

Happily we are not playing in the European competition so I guess you can say that Summer 2014 is a new fresh start for Levski Sofia. It all starts on 19 July against Lokomotiv Plovdiv. A week later in the 2nd round we play against the red pigs cska.
