Btw, I dont know if you are aware but Valeri Bojinov is a Levski player since January. :mrgreen: Today he scored his first goal against Botev Plovdiv for the Quarterfinals of the Bulgarian Cup. We won 3-1 first victory of 2014. :dance: :mrgreen: The 2nd leg is next Wednesday, I hope our “beloved” footballers dont fuck it up… This Cup is everything we have at the moment.

Well, we will play against Lazio for the anniversary. It was a fans choice basically and I will explain why. We opened a foundation for organising all the celebrations around our anniversary back in 2013. I dont know how but our president Todor Batkov (with whom we are in conflict and want him out) was managing. Suddenly in the end of March he decided to leave it like that and now entirely the fans are organising all the events. We have big support of the coach of our basketball team who actually arranged the game against Lazio. The match will be played on 23th May, 21:45 local time. Our birthday is on the 24th.
Unfortunately with this we run out of the positive things around our club… Round after round we break a new anti-record. Last week we lost again the derby with 1-3 from cska sofa. So that made it 4 lost derbies in-a-row, all in one season. This had never happened back in history. We also break the record for most losses in one season. Currently we have 13 lost games but with 4 remaining games I expect that number to increase… We are very close of missing European competitions. The last time when we did not participate in UEFA tournaments was in season 1990-91. This season we changed 4 coaches in total which I am not sure, but I think its also a record. The only record we havent beaten yet is for worst finish in the table. Our worst is 7th place and we are currently 5th. Happily with this years format of the championship its not possible to beat that because we are currently playing playoffs and the teams are separated into 2 halves with 7 teams each. So beating that anti-record will remain for another time…
This summer will be very crucial for us because we hope there will be some changes in the ownership of the club. Also new faces will arrive and a lot of the current players will leave. Actually they have started to leave since yesterday when Rafael Bastos terminated his contract with us. So basically we are just playing the rest of the championship games with our shitty players in the team + a few youngsters from the Academy. Its quite interesting and so surprising that the youngsters are playing the best from all. One of them scored in the derby which was our first goal in the last 4 derby games. Before that another youngster scored against Litex. So basically our last 2 goals are both scored by 17-18 year old boys from the Academy…
I hope better times will arrive at the club in the next few years. Right now everything is just going wrong. There is nothing normal about the club that I can think about except for the preparation for the upcoming anniversary + the fans…

Well, this was our history last year, we also had 4 managers and we ended 7th for the first time. Playing with academy kids and reserves because most players ceased their contracts. Wolfswinkel was sold by the president himself after he resigned and had no more legitimate powers, because apparently he had some undisclosed personal investment on him under the table. Mid season, with 12 games played, we were in 12th with 12 points. We missed Europe for the first time in 36 years and broke all possible negative records, ending with a goal average of +0.
Fortunately we elected the president we wanted since long ago and now we are recovering. Our former president didn’t want to go, nevertheless, that bastard elected himself with a fraud and his plan was to put the club into administration in order to get the final spoils from the dissolution.
Batkov reminds me of Dinamo Zagreb’s Mamic´! That guy also tried to change the club’s foundation date.
Yeah, but Mamic is clever. He sells players for millions of euros to big European Clubs. Batkov cant even sell a gum to a kid…
I envy you a little with that election type of management you have in Portugal and Spain. Here in order to kick out a football president he should leave on good will or someone has to put a bullet in his head.
Interesting summer is coming for us. One of our last legends Georgi Ivanov will start to work as sports director and has the mission to find us a good head coach but I doubt that this will change anything. Even if the new coach is Jurgen Klopp… I forgot to mention that the construction of our stadium is currently frozen. “Shockingly” there have been issues with the finances about it. Fortunately they have demolished only the main stand… They had plans to do the same with the ultra sector but the fans from the fractions wanted a guaranty from the bank for that. Right now the person responsible for the construction - Ivo Tonev, is giving from time to time interviews that he will speak in details about it. Last month he finally did and explained that the stand will be opened in September but without the planned roof. :rotfl: Besides that we terminated the contract with the company that started it all due to lack of money. And now… we signed a contract with a new construction company. ;D Waiting to see when we will drag them with money too.

Today one of the few positive events occurred in our club. The kit for the next season was presented and the team will play with them on the anniversary game against Lazio on 23 May.
Tickets for the game are already in sell. If you are so interested in attending the game and watch our club you are welcome to join. Sofia is also an interesting city to visit. 
The show will be promising.

Those kits look superb, awesome details. It’s only missing a Bulgarian flag. Maybe it should have the three colours of Bulgaria’s flag in the sleeve and neckline instead.

Honestly I cant blame Bojinov right now. He is playing the best he can. Scored 2 goals last game against Ludogorets and on top of that he donated 10 000 leva in total (this is approximately 5 000 euros) to our foundation that organises all the celebrations around the anniversary including the game with Lazio. Only one or two more players from the first team donated money too. Apparently Bojinov is a good guy but not very smart and because of that he nearly destroyed his talent and career.
Don’t worry, we don’t have hard feelings about the guy. He just did totally random things. I wish him the best.
His worst moment was described here last season, he wanted to win a game so bad that he pushed the guy who should score the penalty, and worse, it was a final minute winner and he missed, totally embarrassing scene, lol. Then he left the club still under contract, without warning, we called him back to resume training and start the new season and he replied through sms texts “hahaha” :lol:
He looks much lighter and stronger now, he used to look like a fat marshmallow. 
The longest week of all had just began. 5 days until the big game.
I see that you bought Simeon Slavchev from Litex. I hope this is a good transfer. He is a talented player, professional, doesnt get involve in any scandals or something. Unlike Bojinov. :mrgreen: Slavchev scored 14 goals this season which is a lot considering the fact that he plays as a defensive midfielder. In the World Cup 2014 qualifications he made his debut in the national team. :great:
