Let’s be honest: Paulinho is a phenomenal player. Much more experienced than Viktor, with more European experience, Portuguese international and top scorer in the history of the Portuguese League cup. Even if Viktor were born 10 times he would not be able to reach these records, only at the level of the greatest legends of Sporting Clube de Portugal. I know that Paulinho wouldn’t be cheap, but I think that giving 30 million for him would be more advantageous than burying 100 million in a Swedish striker who only reached at 25 years of age a weak league like the Portuguese one. Furthermore, Portuguese players are much more evolved than Swedish players, as is tradition. It would be a shame to lose Paulinho at this point but I’m sure he would be a brutal addition to any European giant.
