Conhecias o Rubio ou o Carrillo…ou até mesmo o Arias…mas podes ver que têm potencial…o facto de serem mais ou menos conhecidos…é irrelevante…
O rapaz pode ter potencial…e é isso que desperta o interesse do Sporting…de certeza que não é por ser irmão de quem é ou porque acham que por ser irmão é bom…imagino que tenha sido observado e que vejam nele algum futuro…

Para um júnior de segundo ano 14 jogos pelo Lens não é nada mau.

por acaso, ainda não há muito tempo li qualquer coisa boa sobre este chaval por aí, na net. além disso, já me tinham falado dele e as referências que me deram é que tem potencial e uns pézinhos bem interessantes. se será tão bom como o irmão não sei, mas esta seria uma contratação na linha das que nos trouxeram, esta época, Arias, Carrillo ou Turan. ou seja, o risco pode bem ser compensado pela enorme margem de lucro caso vingue.
vale o que vale (e não deve valer de muito), mas o irmão, o eden, diz que este vai ser melhor do que ele.

OK, so we have all heard of Eden Hazard, the super talented young Belgian who’s taken the footballing world by storm, starred for Lille in his teens, been courted by Real Madrid, Arsenal, Inter Milan et al, has drawn comparisons to the legendary Zinedine Zidane and has broken into the Belgian National Team, all accomplished by the ripe old age of 18. Well the Hazard family have another absolute gem coming through (and incidentally; have yet another potential wonderkid in Ethan Hazard, still in Belgium) in second born son Thorgan, tipped by both Lens coach Jean-Guy Wallame and brother Eden to be even better than the emerging 18 year old. Thorgan comes from a family steeped in football heritage, aside from the obvious his mother was a referee and his father Thierry played briefly as a professional for AFC Tubize.
Like Eden, Thorgan Hazard was scouted and snapped up by a French Ligue Un team, in this case it was for the eternal rivals of OSC Lille: Lens. At 14 he was turning out for Lens’ U17s, and has since featured twice for the reserves; managing an assist into the bargain and is a solid starter for their U19s. Of course comparisons were drawn between the two brothers, and this wasn’t to be unnoticed by Belgium Under 17s coach Bob Browaeys who has called up the tricky dual flanked winger on nine occasions, starting him six times and recieving four assists and one goal in return. Alongside Rits, Raman and Arslanagic, he is one of the youngsters tipped for the very top of the footballing spectrum by his international coach who had this to say (Translated using Babelfish, anything starred is my translation of anything that didn’t translate):

Despite attracting attention from European giants Hazard has his feet planted firmly on the ground, and has ambitions only to play for Lens (at the moment…!), who he is expected to turn out for after his seventeenth birthday in March; when he will be promoted to the senior squad alongside Geoffrey Komdogbia. Despite starting out as an attacking midfielder, Thorgan has found himself appearing as an out and out winger down both flanks; showing versatility and ambidextous ability which will eb perfectly suited to the French game, where he will have to compete with Boukari, Roudet and Doumeng for a starting berth.
In summary, according to youth coaches, his brother and club officials this kid will be bigger than Eden Hazard, as per usual, I am forced to utter the cliche ‘only time will tell’, but if Eden’s example is anything to go by, that time will be short and Thorgan will be jinking down the wings in the Felix Bollaert and being linked with Real Madrid!
A massive talent, full to the brim with potential, Thorgan Hazard is one to keep an eye out for, Lens could have something special on their hands here.
UPDATE: Thorgan now has a Professional contract with Lens. Signed in the Summer of ‘10, it concludes in July 2013 and notched up his first ever ‘real’ appearance for Lens’ first team in which he scored their only goal in a 1-1 draw in a friendly with Belgian side K.S.V. Roeselare. Technically if the French fourth division was on the database, Thorgan would already be on the SM database. Since the start of the 10/11 season, he’s been a mainstay in the RC Lens Championnat de France team (the equivalent of our ‘reserve teams’, however the league itself is the equivalent of League 2). His impressive form lead to the full Lens team calling him up to the subs’ bench for the home clash against Bordeaux in May, however despite winning 1-0, Hazard wasn’t called upon; although 11/12 is finally set to be the season in which the youngster becomes a fully fledged member of RC Lens’ first squad.
After coming of age at 18, Thorgan was quickly thrust into the Belgian U18 side, although he only managed to play one game in which he scored one and assisted the other as the Belgians beat Ukraine’s U18s 2-1. Given his impressive debut, Thorgan jumped up immediately to the U19 side and debuted against Belarus in February. He scored the only goal in a 1-0 win, a 25 yard half volley just after half time. In qualifying for the 2011 UEFA European Under-19 Football Championships he played every minute of Belgium’s three matches in stage one qualification, assisting two out of the four goals in the matches - of which he scored one himself which turned out to be an 88th minute winner in their 3-2 win over Croatia past Chelsea’s Matej Delac.
So Belgium emerged unbeaten with Hazard Mk.2 as the star of the show, but they failed to replicate their form in the (ongoing, as it is) Euro U19 Championships in Romania. Belgium’s initial match against Spain, red hot favourites for the Championships, was delayed due to bad weather, forcing the replay a day later. Belgium were trounced 4-1, but Thorgan notched up the assist for Belgium’s sole goal. Two 1-1 draws against Serbia and Turkey later and Belgium are out of the U19s. Thorgan played every minute, and despite an assist failed to impress in his latter two appearances. Interestingly however, both Hazard and Brugge’s Maxime Lestienne have been tipped to move up to for the Belgian U21s - so watch this space!
We all in the Lens family have got faith in him and firing such a talented manager would just be suicidal, so as long as Garcia is left, Thorgan will be intergreated to the team slowly. Better than Eden? No way. Extremely talented? Yes.

Já ouvi falar , mas não conheço. Se tivesse nem que fosse 40 % do talento do irmão , comprava-o já . Se bem que é estranho que se ele tem tanto potencial assim , ainda não ter saído para um grande clube. Ou , pelo menos , ser assíduo na equipa principal. O irmão … já o era.

@Pode ser por falta de visibilidade. É mais fácil avaliar um jogador que joga pelos séniores do que um jovem que não joga nos séniores.
O Sporting poderá estar a aproveitar o seu (ainda) não valorizamento para o tentar comprar. Mas também estou a falar de cor pois também não conheço o seu potencial.
Como disse, se tiver potencial, que venha… Nós agradecemos. 
Não conheço o valor do rapaz mas se vier somente por ser irmão do Eden acho um disparate, se por outro lado vier porque lhe reconheceram talento independentemente de ser irmão de quem é então é bem vindo.

Gosto muito destes argumentos:
“O Liedson aos 18 anos estava como repositor num supermercado” = qualquer jogador com 18 anos se pode tornar o Liedson independentemente daquilo que mostra futebolisticamente
“O André Martins não era titular no Pinhalnovense” = qualquer jogador que não seja titular numa equipa mais fraca pode ser uma mais valia para o Sporting independentemente daqulo que mostra futebolisticamente
“O Ribas foi o melhor marcador da Ligue 2 e olha no que deu” = nenhum jogador que seja melhor marcador num campeonato secundário alguma vez servirá para o Sporting
“O Acosta no primeiro ano também foi apelidado de velho” = todo o jogador que jogue mal no primeiro ano pode revelar-se uma mais valia enorme para o Sporting no segundo
“O Tales também tinha potencial, chegou ao Sporting e foi o que se viu” = todo o jogador que venha das reservas de um clube brasileiro tem lugar garantido apenas nas reservas do Sporting e nunca jogará pelo clube
“O Nani/Patrício também foi assobiado em Alvalade” = todo o jogador que é assobiado em Alvalade pode ser uma mais valia.
“Também dispensámos o Pinilla e olha onde está agora” = todo o jogador que aparentemente não é de valor para o SCP marcará toneladas de golos numa época futura, só resta saber quando

EDIT: Não quero com isto dizer que desaprovo da vinda do Thorgen. Se tem potencial, que venha, agora não é por x nem por y que terá potencial mas pelo que mostrar pelo Sporting, seja pelos A ou pelo Sporting B.
