Levski Sofia

I Hope you stay here with us after the group stage

I doubt it, but still I want to ask if someone is coming for the match in Sofia. Despite the fact that it is going to be very meaningless. If not if anyone is still interested in exchanging scarfs of tickets just write to me.

Well, if you’re interested I’ll keep you in touch what’s going on in our club. Seems like on historical level our clubs have much in common.

I’m too looking for someone who is coming in Sofia to exchange some stuff - programs, pins, etc…

Given the cost, cold, and lack of interest of the match itself, I fear very few will travel to Bulgaria.

If I were a rich man…

You might have heard that on 8th December we won against Beroe 1:0 for the Bulgarian cup. They were the present cup holder (lost against Rapid Wien in the Europa League qualifications), but typical villagers. We’ve made many attacks and good combinations but managed to score in the 85-th minute.

Tomorrow is the draw for the 1/4-finals and there’s a chance we’ll play against cska. :victory: All 8 teams are from our “A group”.

Better than us! We are still in mental recovery from yesterday’s elimination off the Cup by the 14th placed in the League. Well, at least their coach was our best scorer and captain in the 80’s. He has more Sporting in one nail than our current administration, manager, coach and players altogether - Seems exaggerated? Facts are that our president admires Porto and our coach admits being a Benfica supporter. Seriously. We’ve gone that low.

Well, for this season, we just have to wait for another painful ending. League is gone. Cup is gone. Just a matter of time before we get eliminated from Europe too.

I hope you make better.

I wish you good luck for tomorrow! :great:

Wow! I looked at the table and Porto are quite points ahead. How’s that possible? Are they in good shape or it’s rather you and Benfica are in a bad one? I’m sorry for your dropping out, but I think you have the chance to pass Benfica in the championship and make a good impression in Europa League.

Thanks for the wishes but here in Bulgaria things don’t get better, in the best case scenario they get just less worse. And we’re in a same situation - Litex (2009/10 champions) are ahead of us 5 points after winning some “controversial” matches with the small help of the referees. There are rumors that they “bought” the previous championship and the present one. Here there’s not much of a competition between the teams from “A group” so 5 points mean a good advantage. Also our president is a fan of Botev Plovdiv (our biggest rivals after cska). Still our unofficial coach (Georgi Ivanov) is one of our greatest players ever and does everything he can, but he’s limited to do what our boss says…

Are you coming in Bulgaria with your 2nd team? We’re in a bit of a bad shape right now and I personally expect a draw in the best case for us. But it depends a lot of what your players are thinking…

Responding to the first question, it’s a bit of both. porto is playing well and we and benfica are in bad shape.

Now to the second one. Before yesterday’s match (that we lost), I would say that we would play with our 2nd team in Bulgaria. Now, our coach may have to use the 1st team, because 2 defeats in a row would be very bad… But who knows, if our 1st team lost the game yesterday, maybe our 2nd team deserves to show themselfs (like they did when we played at Lille, winning the match).

Hopefully it’s a nice match though.

Litex - Levski will be one of the 1/4-finals for our cup. The match will be played probably in the spring of 2011. As for the fans it’s a great draw, we always make a show in Lovech. As for the footballers - it’s a bit disappointing…

Tomorrow it’s our last game for 2010. After that there will be a 2 month and a half break, soooo boring. :frowning: Right now at Sofia it’s minus 5 degrees with snow, so it’s going to be a very funny game for both teams.

Hey. Is Levski stadium full of snow?

There is but not much. By the way we have pitch heating system so the snow won’t be a big problem.

Great :great: :great:

 :great:

Iordanov will be at the Georgi Aspraruhov Stadium :great:

Our great Yorda(nov). What a player. A warrior and a Lion!

Hello, it’s me again. It is snowing all the day here. I think it is good time to say you that one of our nicknames is “The Blue avalanche”  :boohoo:

But blue is sad, my friend…
(blue mood…ok?)
