I am a Rangers fan and we really look forward to hosting your club and your fans in the Blue half and best half of our city. Of course I do feel that we can win this game just as you will think you can beat us. I hope that it is played in a great spirit and that an enjoyable time is had by all.
I will be comming to Lisbon to try your finest ales Is there any places that can be recommended for the good beer and hospitality?
All i can say is that Rangers are beating Sporting in both games, Sporting isn’t playing a shit. Lisbon is a nice city, i’m sure will find a place that i might feel at home. I’m afraid i can’t help you much more, i live far from Lisbon, i hope you enjoy both games and your stay in Portugal.
I’m not really forward to see Rangers against Sporting, it is true that you don’t have players like other teams we played before, but I see you as one or maybe the best Scottish team, and your team looks quite good, i saw the matches againts Bremen, Lyon, Barcelona, Sttugart and Panathinaikos and I’m sure this won’t be easy to our side.
Our top men are Cuellar at the back, he is a rock.
Ferguson and Davis in the Midfield. Both very tough and creative.
Cousin in attack. If he can keep fit he is very powerful striker.
We don’t have any superstars but we work very hard as a team. We are in our first cup final tommorow and are well ahead in the league. Hopefully we can change any Celtc fans into fans of proper football. ;D

About the game, we’ll hope to surprise you because one young team when plays in the European Cups usually plays well, with a better attitude than in our National League.

1 lampião que por acaso devia saber mais de bola que muitos aqui presentes e que não tinha aquele ar arrogante e convencido que caracteriza a massa adepta do benfica. Lembro-me de terem criado um tópico para designar se seriam abertas excepções em relação a adeptos de outros clubes e a resposta foi imediata. Não me digam que ele precisa de vir aqui para saber onde é que se arranja boa cerveja [todas lhes servem] e que apenas porcausa disso e do seu inglês merece continuar no Fórum.
Cada um trata um escocês - ou um djibutiano - como quiser. Se tu não tens educação, problema teu. Não me lembro de ver indicação nenhuma que este fórum é exclusivo a Sportinguistas, portanto também agradecia que não te pusesses a inventar.
Mas qual é o problema?
Acho uma iniciativa bastante interessante e que revela o bom espírito dos Mccoisos. Se repararem bem, o nome de registo dele é como que um convite à participação no fórum deles. Eles virão aí e em força, talvez o maior apoio de sempre de um clube visitante em Alvalade. Acho que é de encarar com algum desportivismo podendo até surgir uma ligeira e saudável"troca de galhardetes".
Não comparem isto com um outro qualquer adversário (lamps ou morcões) que venha para aqui meter veneno.
Ninguém sabe o propósito de alguém. Presumo que o escocês queira apenas pedir informações e só por aí não vejo mal.
Por principio, óbvio, não aceito lampiões e tripeiros por cá, simplesmente porque toda a gente sabe o propósito de fundo da maioria desses que entra para aqui. Eu também não entraria, porque não me interesa minimamente, num fórum dos rivais.
Mas, por exemplo, para pedir informações sobre um eventual reforço que estava para ser contratado ou tivesse vindo, eu entrei em fóruns desses clubes ESTRANGEIROS para pedir informações etc, e gostei de ser bem recebido e ser esclarecido.
É preciso ver cada situação. Até porque na maioria dos casos, receber um estrangeiro implica até algum “interesse” desses (quiçá respeito… esperemos) e aí conta a hospitalidade portuguesa/leonina e não as guerrilhas internas.

I only came on to make aquaintances and hopefully get some information about your fine city. I may even be of help to anyone travelling to Glasgow to let them know where to go and what to see.
