O actor Paul Walker, protagonista da série de filmes de acção “Fast & Furious” (Velocidade Furiosa ) morreu sábado aos 40 anos, vítima de um acidente de aviação, confirmou o seu agente.

Paul Walker — best known for his role in “The Fast and the Furious” movies — died Saturday afternoon after a single-car accident and explosion in Southern California … TMZ has learned. The accident happened in Santa Clarita — north of Los Angeles — and according to multiple sources connected to Paul … the actor was in a Porsche when the driver somehow lost control and slammed into a post or a tree … and then the car burst into flames. We’re told Paul and another person in the car were killed. Law enforcement is still on the scene, and we’re told the L.A. County Coroner’s Office is on the way. At this point, it’s unclear what caused the accident, or who was behind the wheel when it happened. Paul was 40 years old. Sources close to Paul tell us he was in Santa Clarita for a car show to support the Philippines typhoon relief effort, and had been taking friends out for rides in his new Porsche GT. The accident happened during one of those test spins.
Even though most of his movies sucked except for the underrated Running Scared, Paul Walker seemed like a cool guy. In his honor, I’m going to tokyo drift into Moe’s tomorrow and get a burrito. What? Whatever. Not all people grieve the same, you know.
Enfim, eu acompanhava quase todos os trabalhos onde o próprio estava envolvido sempre com muita atenção, sobretudo aqueles que envolvem a sua associação de caridade…

De facto já tinha lido sobre isto ontem à tarde mas nem dei muita importância, pensava que era mais uma fake como tantas outras mas afinal sempre se confirmou. Perde-se assim um grande actor e ao que parece uma grande pessoa. No próximo filme podiam arranjar uma maneira de o homenagear, seria interessante.
Como actor, era um daqueles que marcavam os tempos actuais de Hollywood, onde a mediocridade é idolatrada.
Mas parece-me que fora dos ecrâs ele estava bem melhor do que dentro deles, e isso é de louvar. Nem todos os actores, mesmo os bons, se empenham em causas de forma a dar aos outros um pouco daquilo que recebem, e é sempre uma pena perder este tipo de pessoas.
Paul Walker’s body was burned so badly the coroner needs his dental records to identify the body … TMZ has learned.
A rep for the L.A. County Coroner tells us … the bodies of Paul and his friend/business partner Roger Rodas are currently unidentifiable and their autopsies will be delayed until later this week.
We’re told the coroner is waiting on both sets of dental records before proceeding.
Rodas – who was driving the Porsche yesterday – was friends with Walker for nearly a decade … and Roger has been credited with helping Paul start his race shop.
The two also joined forces to create the “Reach Out World Wide” Foundation to help disaster relief in other countries – and as we first reported … the group was behind yesterday’s fundraiser for typhoon relief in Santa Clarita.
Paul’s rep says Roger and Paul were leaving the event when they wrecked.
