Well, all his friends and family were Servette fans, he had no link at all with Zurich city (he cannot speak German) and Fc Zurich team, it was a child decision to support the team, and when he grew up I suppose he considered it all...

Não fui eu quem começou. Se acham que deve ser em inglês ao menos usem um corrector ortográfico avançado. Todos cometemos erros (os em português são impedoáveis!), mas podendo ser evitado não há razão para tal.

Do you know Mario Cáceres ? I saw, that he played for Sporting some months in his career...

Three weeks ago he signed in St. Gallen... he played in two matches a total time of 15 minutes...
whats your opinion?

FCSG, given your interest in Sporting, I suppose you are aware of today match in Madrid.
You should be able to see it in Spanish channel TVE Internacional, or in any online channel, @ 20:00 CET.
It relates to the famous Santiago Bernabeu trophy, and being strictly private, nobody knows what both coaches approach will be.
Sporting will be able to use defender Polga, who got a red card in the last match, which will not happen in the next league match, against SC Braga, in the north, a traditionally difficult match. It will take place on Monday September 1st. Braga stadium is unusually pretty, deserving being seen. It is also one of the most original in the whole world.

Can't remember Mario Cáceres.

I see... here its the same at the moment. he only played two games with a total time of 15 minutes, so its very difficult to say what he can or not... we will seee... Wink

But its funny, that we have a former sporting player in our team...

Both of you are right actually.

RabiuIbrahim is using British English, where collective nouns are treated as plurals.

one_o_six is using American English where collective nouns take a singular verb.

As for Caceres, I think he was an attacking midfielder (2nd striker maybe) but don't remember him playing any match.

This was our last game in the old stadium... and the relegation was definitive...
the police came 5 minutes before the ending into the stadium and stood on to the field... after this they provocated the fans...
